Plex Channel # in epg
#1
Thanks, however the channels are not duplicated on the m3u side. Each has their own however on the xml side there are duplicated on the lcn part. Also the lcn number does not match the m3u channel-id>

example:

Duplicate lcn but does not match channel-id:
m3u:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="ABC.us" tvg-name="ABC US" tvg-logo="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/ABC.us.png" tvg-chno="28" channel-id="28" group-title="USA LOCAL NETWORKS"
xml:
<icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/ABC.us.png"/><lcn>3</lcn></channel>

Duplicate lcn but matches m3u channel id:
m3u:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="MSNBC.us" tvg-name="MSNBC US" tvg-logo="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/MSNBC.us.png" tvg-chno="3" channel-id="3" group-title="USA NEWS NETWORKS",MSNBC
xml:
<icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/MSNBC.us.png"/><lcn>3</lcn></channel>

There are several channels like this.

I moved this to the bug reports as it had nothing to do in the topic you posted in.
Please create separate topics for separate things.

I don't know what you mean by "duplicate lcn".

If you refer to the tvg-chno and channel-id tags in the m3u file, then you must be clear about the fact that one is for KODI, the other is for Emby and that they will always be there, but they have nothing to do with Plex and they shouldn't interfere with Plex or with each other in any way.

If they do, then somebody is doing something very wrong, but it's not us.

We will check the lcn numbers, but it should be the same as the two others.

UPDATE:
Can't reproduce wrong lcn numbers.
Without knowing your account we can't check your account for a discrepancy.

Moved to declined bug reports.

I've got the same issue, only 1-2 channels. I will PM my account name

lcn numbers are the same on multiple streams but they are two completely different streams.
<icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/MSNBC.us.png"/><lcn>3</lcn></channel>
<icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/ABC.us.png"/><lcn>3</lcn></channel>

In the m3u file only one stream has tv-chno="3" and channel-id="3" which is what should map to lcn in the xml/egp. However both streams are mapping to lcn 3 in the xml/epg
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="ABC.us" tvg-name="ABC US" tvg-logo="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/ABC.us.png" tvg-chno="28" channel-id="28" group-title="USA LOCAL NETWORKS"
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="MSNBC.us" tvg-name="MSNBC US" tvg-logo="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/MSNBC.us.png" tvg-chno="3" channel-id="3" group-title="USA NEWS NETWORKS"

The account name is the same as here EnorMOZ

I have the same thing happening on my file as well. I hope this will be reconsidered, because it is definitely a bug and shouldn't be declined. Take a look at this from my xml file, there are two different channels with an lcn of 405, and two with an lcn of 406. If this isn't a bug, please let us know how to get around it, because right now only one of each of these is being shown in my Plex EPG.

Code:
<channel id="NBCSportsNetwork.us">
   <display-name lang="en">NBC Sports Network US</display-name>
   <url>http://www.yo.tv</url>
 <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/NBCSportsNetwork.us.png"/><lcn>405</lcn></channel>

<channel id="Nickelodeon.us">
   <display-name lang="en">Nickelodeon US</display-name>
   <url>http://www.yo.tv</url>
 <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/Nickelodeon.us.png"/><lcn>405</lcn></channel>

<channel id="UniversalKids.us">
   <display-name lang="en">Universal Kids US</display-name>
   <url>http://www.tvpassport.com</url>
 <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/UniversalKids.us.png"/><lcn>406</lcn></channel>

<channel id="NewEnglandSportsNetwork.us">
   <display-name lang="en">New England Sports Network US</display-name>
   <url>http://www.yo.tv</url>
 <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/NewEnglandSportsNetwork.us.png"/><lcn>406</lcn></channel>

Ok, we have checked and this is not a bug.

You just simply can not have the same channel multiple times in multiple m3u files with different channel numbers but with the same tvg-id.

I am sorry, if this creates you troubles, but again: we can not develop our service around other applications' failures.

I don't think this is being explained correctly, because your reply is actually the opposite of what is happening.

If you look at my comment above, they are different channels that have the same lcn number. Not the same channel multiple times with different channel numbers.

For example, NBC Sports Network and Nickelodeon both have a lcn number of 405.

This all happens before the list hits Plex... the m3u is coming from the IPTV service provider, input directly into iptv-epg. And the output from iptv-epg is giving me a list with duplicate lcn numbers, even though they are completely different channels.

Also, this isn't coming from multiple m3u files. It is coming from a single m3u file from the IPTV provider.

Also, just to prove that these channels do not have the same tvg-id, here are excerpts from the m3u file from my provider that I imported into epg-iptv. The two channels in question definitely have different tvg-ids.

Code:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="nbcsportsnetwork.us" tvg-name="NBCSN" tvg-logo="http://picon.helixhosting.ninja/26224.png" group-title="USA & CANADA SPORTS",NBCSN
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="nickelodeon.us" tvg-name="Nickelodeon" tvg-logo="http://picon.helixhosting.ninja/1686.png" group-title="USA KIDS NETWORKS",Nickelodeon

The m3u file generated by iptv-epg still has the same tvg-ids as before (each channel has a different tvg-id). Which is great. But the xml file that is generated by iptv-epg has the following lines for NBC Sports Network and Nickelodeon:

Code:
<channel id="NBCSportsNetwork.us">
    <display-name lang="en">NBC Sports Network US</display-name>
    <url>http://www.yo.tv</url>
  <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/NBCSportsNetwork.us.png"/><lcn>405</lcn></channel>

<channel id="Nickelodeon.us">
    <display-name lang="en">Nickelodeon US</display-name>
    <url>http://www.yo.tv</url>
  <icon src="http://static.iptv-epg.com/us/Nickelodeon.us.png"/><lcn>405</lcn></channel>

All of a sudden, they both have the same lcn number.

I don't see how this isn't a bug in iptv-epg. If this isn't a bug, can you please explain how these two completely separate channels are being assigned the same lcn number?

Please send me your registered email address for your account, otherwise we don't know where to look.
Also do not change anything, otherwise we won't see the problem, even if we know where to look.
