[ADDED] M3U Editor - auto sort
#1
Thumbs Up
Hi,

After importing my M3U the channels have all gone out of order. Using auto sort works but only does it by the TVG-ID. I was wondering if it would be possible to add functionality to choose to sort by channel name in M3U as well. I use country codes at the start of each channel... eg. UK | Sky Sports, hence different ordering then by using TVG-ID.

thanks.

Put your channels in groups. Then your problem is solved   Tongue
Create UK group and put all UK channels into it.

I already use groups. Sports, Movies, etc.

They were correctly ordered in the m3u before import, so don't understand why they appeared in a random order after.

You can move around groups and channels.

Just drag and drop into the place you want them to appear in your m3u.

Yes though when you have hundred of channels all out of order that would take a very long time.

Was hoping if you could sort by one field, then sorting by another would be a simple feature to adopt.

cheers.
