There was such a feature years ago and we removed it, because it caused constant problems.

It doesn't work, how you think it works. It also cancels the very reason to have an m3u editor.

Thats your opinion, adding new features is all about making the program simpler, easier and more effiecent with added options.
Its not the very reason of having an M3u editor, with a program like this you enjoy the benefit of editing channels, logos and epg.
