255 character error - Epg Admin - 06-24-2020
When you import your m3u file, you might run into an error message about having links containing more than 255 characters.
If you see that message, it means that your m3u file won't be imported.
It is not a new thing, but until now the system simply shortened your url to 255 characters and that was it.
Of course those urls never worked after that.
The problem is in the database structure.
We will change that, but it means that we will have to close the site again for a day or two, just like the last time, so brace yourselves for next week not having the site for 24-48 hours.
Your files will of course work, but you won't be able to make changes.
We will announce the lock down 1-2 days in advance, if we don't forget
